Announcing the release of A Game of Chess, the third recording from the Minneapolis-based Celtic/American folk/folk rock duo of Lehto and Wright. A year and a half in the making, A Game of Chess is a fitting follow up to their first two critically acclaimed New Folk Records releases Ye Mariners All and The Further Adventures of Darling Cory. John Wright and Steve Lehto have again pushed the boundaries of folk and folk rock with their interpretations of English, Irish and American folk songs and dance tunes. Also included on A Game of Chess are two pieces penned by Steve Lehto, "Antietam" and "Air," in addition to the 15+ minute epic "Ten Long Years," which features traditional lyrics with music penned by Wright and Lehto.
